I've gone back to what I used to do as a kid. I practiced realism when I was a kid and always thought the masters were the best. In my teens I went in a different direction, and I lost direction. I was bored with realism and like the rebelion of the abstracts. I understand the raw emotion within them and the beauty in them. Then in the summer of 08 I discovered the law of non contradiction, and realized how amazing actual reality is, and how sticking to the truth would show my personality. I became a Christian, and found the worldview in the Bible unlike any other. With my rebirth, I came back to what was natural to me as a kid, and now I wish to continue drawing from reality. you don't have to recreate art to do something meaningful. You don't even have to be recognized by academics. But you must be honest in what you are doing and why. Every realist painter paints a little different. There is a language that is subtle. In what they make sharper, in what they make blurry, in the subject matter, in their technique, in the size of the canvas, etc. I deleted my other deviations because that's exactly what they were= deviations. I am happy to be found. I am not running away from my past. It will always be the expression of my soul trying to find meaning, I just don't think they need to be public anymore.
